Marked by the proliferation of tags and graffiti in Paris and its suburbs in the 1980s, SethOne began graffiti in the early 1990s with the groups STS and CLM. His work on canvas developed later, driven by a desire to approach the dynamics of his letters differently than on walls. This process, which he named Graffolyse, involves the disintegration of the letter, its deconstruction, giving way to components, ornaments, dynamic elements, and strong lines to create a snapshot of movement as a whole. This transformation is influenced by a wide array of styles: pop art, tribal art, contemporary art, as well as imagery from skate and surf culture and 90s comics.
